Sandeep is a Qualified Industrial Engineer from Thapar Institute and has 25+ years of experience across manufacturing, ITeS, and banking. He's a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and has led innovation frameworks at ICICI Bank. Currently heading Business Excellence at ACC Cements (Holcim group).
Sandeep has worked in diverse industries and different roles. His tenure is almost equally split between Manufacturing (both Product industry and Process industry where he currently works), ITeS and Banking.Sandeep has played the role of deployment leader and quality champion in well known Indian and International companies. Some of the brands where he learned and honed his skills are HCL, LG Electronics, Videocon, Wipro, ICICI Bank. In his last role he headed multiple functions (Quality, Innovation, Service Improvement, Infrastructure Management and Business Process Re-engineering at different points of time) for more than 10 years. He was instrumental in bringing structured way of innovation at ICICI Bank by creating a framework comprising of tie-ups with a) premier engineering institutes (like IIT Delhi, VJTI Mumbai, PEC Chandigarh, DCE Delhi, etc), b) research institutes like CDAC, c) technology companies like Accenture, TCS d) applied research like MIT Media Lab and e) Incubators and acclerators like 91 Springboard, Zone Startup, etc. He has been a speaker on the subject of Innovation and Startup engagement at various prestigious forums.
